We can’t wait for the first gate drop on Wednesday! Let’s line the fences for this TransCan – make sure you share your discount code with all of your friends and family for 10% off of tickets: GNC24 Spectator Tickets Move-In Times: We know you are excited, but do not arrive early at the facility – this includes arriving early to wait in the laneway. Arrive only at your designated move-in time. The answer is no if you email or call us asking to move your time to an unavailable time. If you are part of a group with an early move-in time, you must arrive at your designated move-in time only. Please don’t arrive early and block the gates. Pro Riders: All riders racing the TransCan must select a designated move-in time to arrive at the facility, including Pro Riders also racing the Pro National on Sunday. If you are a Pro Rider who is not racing the amateur week, you may arrive at any time while the gate is open AFTER 5:00 pm EST on Tuesday, August 6th. Your credentials are only valid Fri-Sun; gate and camping fees will apply for the rest of the week. WAIVERS: You have to have your waiver signed, and the link kept on your phone for when you come into the gate. These waivers differ from those you signed for our open practice days. EVERYONE in your vehicle must sign the waiver. EVERYONE in your vehicle will have a selfie taken with these waivers. Minors require that both the minor and parental guardian take selfies. You did not complete the waiver signing process if you were not asked to take a selfie. DO NOT come into the facility without signing these waivers. Do not yell at us if you haven’t completed all of the steps. We do not have golf cart rentals available. You are more than welcome to reach out to companies to rent your own! Golf carts are awesome for getting around during the races. However, to avoid any interruptions and accidents, we have decided that golf carts are prohibited 30 minutes after the last social event each evening, including Saturday night. AMATEUR SIGN-IN: Monday, August 5th 7:00pm – 9:00pmTuesday, August 6th 1:00pm – 6:00pm FACILITY RULE REVISION FOR THE TRANSCAN: Golf Carts may be used by PERMIT ONLY and are limited to a maximum width of 64 inches. No pit bikes, mopeds, scooters, mules, ATVs, 6-wheel Gators, Razors or high-performance vehicles are permitted, as determined by the sole discretion of Walton Raceway. All bicycles MUST have pedals – if your bicycle does not have pedals, it is a pit bike, and they are prohibited. This includes Surrons. Golf Cart Passes must be purchased upon entrance to the facility when you check-in. The cost is $100. Only racers are eligible for Golf Cart Passes. Day Spectators are not eligible for Golf Cart Passes. POND: The natural pond located at the Gatehouse is UNSUPERVISED. All minors must be accompanied by an adult who will take the time to supervise their actions. Hours of Operation: 8:00 am – 9:00 pm PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES AT THE POND: Diving, the max depth is 8ft. DO NOT DIVE.Climbing on the waterfall.Jumping off of the waterfall.Being rude to our staff when they have to supervise your children because you are too busy not parenting.Ignoring the rules.Asking us if the rules are real.General ignorance. This is a natural pond with a sand filter. Because there are no chemicals, the pond is also home to a few new tadpoles! GARBAGE: Garbage collection will take place daily; please set your garbage bags at the edge of your site. All garbage must be contained in a garbage bag, and cardboard must be broken down. No tires No gas for fuel canisters No glass No furniture REFUNDS: No refunds are available after August 3rd unless you are on Standby and a gate position is unavailable. All refund requests received prior to this date are being processed today, and those received after August 3rd will not be responded to. RV PUMP-OUTS: RV pump-out signup will be at the gatehouse between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, for pump-outs on Thursday and Friday. The fee is $60 cash only, and they will have their own separate table set up in the gatehouse! WATER: The water truck will be on-site starting on Monday. A 45-Gallon/200-litre Tank costs $10, and a 265-gallon/1000-litre Tank costs $20. Campers start at $30 and increase with tank size. The people running the truck are named Sam and Derek, please be polite and acknowledge that there is only one water truck on the whole facility that is travelling through the pits. The gravity tanks at the facility’s entrance are not filled or available for use. We will keep your packages by the counter in the Gatehouse. TRANSPONDERS: Transponders are available to rent for the week. $50/week (not including Pro Sunday). About Walton Raceway Walton Raceway is located in Huron Country on Ontario’s West Coast. The address of the facility is 42932 Walton Road in Walton, Ontario, Canada. Walton Raceway was opened in 1971 and is one the longest-running and most prestigious Motocross facilities within Canada. About The TransCan In 1992, the TransCan was created as Walton Raceway would hold an annual event drawing on all the best things in the sport, an annual coming together for bragging rights, a celebration of Canadian Motocross. The TransCan was built from a great natural track, strong community support, accessibility and support from the Industry.
