This week Ken Roczen announced that he was pulling out the Monster Energy Supercross Series to address some health issues. It’s unclear whether KR94 will return for the Outdoor Series or if last weekend’s Daytona SX was his last.
If you live in Ontario or even in Quebec, one of the closet rounds of SX is tomorrow in Detroit. There are still great seats remaining inside the warm and cozy Ford Field so this will be a great opportunity to see your favourite SX riders live.

Unfortunately, Julien Benek is out for a few months after his big crash last weekend in Daytona. Benek suffered a compound Tib/Fib fracture that required surgery at a local hospital. We want to send our best wishes to Julien as he heals up from this terrible injury.
Also, this week, due to the ongoing issues in Ukraine the Board of Directors of FIM North America unanimously concurred with the FIM Board’s action and will honour its request by prohibiting riders from the Russian and Belarusian motorcycle federations from participating in FIM North America activities.
With Marco Cannella and Shawn Maffenbeier already confirmed for 2022, the MX101 FXR Yamaha Racing Team announced that they’ve also signed Westen Wrozyna to race in the 450 class this season.
One of the best and most storied events in Canada is back on the schedule after a two-year Covid-19 induced hiatus. The Riviere Du Loup AX will take place on May 28th and this year it’s celebrating its 40th Anniversary.
GASGAS Canada released its 2023 MX and Off-Road models this past week. These new bikes look great and are currently in dealerships.
