MX2 Moto Two Report From Edmonton

Kaven Benoit was blowing berms at Pala during the KTM photo shoot

The biggest question heading into the MX2 second moto was whether Politelli could continue his streak of winning. But early on while chasing Kaven Benoit, Politelli went down and fell way back. This track is the last track you want to play catch up on and for the rest of the moto Politelli struggle to get back into the top five.

Up front, Benoit stayed steady with Josh Clark keeping him honest for the enitre moto. Behind Clark was the ever consistent Brad Nauditt who with a few laps to go had tried to reel in Clark but came up just short. When it was over, Benoit held on for the moto win and his first overall of the 2013 season. Heading into the East part of the series, this win couldn’t have come at a better time for Benoit and his KTM Team.

Top five:

1. Kaven Benoit

2. Josh Clark

3. Brad Nauditt

4. Kyle Swanson

5. Blake Savage.
