Mail It Friday. We have to tell you this blog drives Charles Stancer batty. Why you ask? Because we are super inconsistent in getting it up. To you the fans, we apologize. Trust us when we say, your anger is felt by our bosses.
St Louis Supercross had lots of great action and drama. Perhaps the most talked about drama was the “pass” under red cross. You be the judge.

A Lot of talk here in SWO about clubs making AMB Transponders Mandatory. Yes there is a cost, but no one can debate the fact, it is moving things in a direction that is better for the sport. There is a dealer purchase day for AMB transponders at Xtreme Toys in London, Ontario this weekend. 12:00pm-4:00pm, lots of people are going to be hanging around and it will be a nice place to get some pre season juice for sure. We just are putting to bed a great issue of MXP due out at the Toronto Supercross. In it, we interview Justin Thompson, supercross star Cole Thompson’s older brother. He talks about his AX Tour, about how he wants Canadians to come down and race the series. He even talks about getting racers a place to stay and practice at his new facility in Jackson, MO. It is a good read, and something to think about for Canadian racers. Make sure you check the issue out.

Talk about a crazy week in the life of Tyler Medaglia. Honda to KTM, Florida to California. Things can change quick.
Brett: A great story teller tells a tale, but also lets you know a bit about him in his story. Same goes for most people who are great at things, they put their whole self into it. The very greatest let us see more, the world through them and in the case of iconic stompin Tom Connors he showed us Canada. He loved this country. From shore line to shore line and when you listen to him play music, you loved this country more yourself. He was ageless, shamelessly proud of this country and if you met him he seemed mythical.
One of his famous songs, Tillsonburg talks about the hard work in tobacco in Tillsoburg area. When I was a young teenager, a friend of mine from down the road, stayed at relatives and pulled tobacco. It was great money and the plan was when he went back to work I would go with him for a week. He came home and never went back.
Being a motocross racer, Tillsonburg has another reference. Gopher Dunes, and while I do think about my friend Brad heading to make money that summer and coming back a beaten kid, I also always think about motocross. The good friends I have there, racing, the men in the fields many years ago and the many memories I have from Tillsonburg. I think of all that each time I hear that song. Thanks Tom. You were a beaut.
