It has been some time now since the last Chronicle was written as I have spent more time on MXPFilms to provide a more viewer appealing source of coverage for the Monster Energy MX Nationals and Motocross in Canada. There is a lot of strong coverage these days in Canada from multiple sources, probably the best ever which is great! Teams are providing press releases on their weekend results, photo reports are done by photographers who spend the day out on the track to capture their best images, and our races have access to LIVE coverage on race day at www.MXPMAG.com
This is a time to elevate our sport for years to come as there are plenty of resources to follow Motocross action in Canada, but I still feel that the followers, fans, racers and enthusiasts need to give more necessary feedback. This is important for a company to have the outside viewers give their comments, thoughts and likes to show they support the coverage and progression of the sport.
Aside from all the positive coverage, there has been a splash of bad, negative attitudes within the great Canadian media who feel it is necessary to complain to the public. What does this do? It puts a few weak cracks in our industry that get filled in with the continuing hard work from the rest. It’s not always perfect at each event but it is what we have here in Canada. It’s easy to sit back and say this and that about how things are done, and bad critics are just as fowl as the socks they wear. But the fact is that our industry is strong now with all the Media and we need to worry about own work to be contributed.
Here are some fabulous Industry leaders here in Canada to follow the last 3 rounds of Pro MX.

On a personal note, I have been very busy with the first half of the Nationals in the West, running the MXP tent plus I’m on the track videotaping for later edits. You can watch all the videos in order at www.mxpmag.com in the VIDEOS tab.
Videos to look for each Pro National Round:

MXPFilms: Race Highlight videos of MX2, MX1 and Ladies
Aside from being at each round to cover the racing, I was invited down to California to test the new 2013 Kawasaki KX450F as were all the major media companies in the United States. This was an exceptional three days of testing at the famed Zaca Station and having former Champ Jeff “Fro” Emig a part of the program could not have been any better. Chris Pomeroy, Kyle Beaton and myself made our way down and met at the Santa Barbara Airport and were taken care of 100% and offered some great feedback to Kawasaki.

When you feel at the top of the world and invincible sometimes you just get knocked back a few steps. Upon returning from California and having a weekend off from the Pro Nationals, I took to the boat for a well deserved surf and wakeskate session when I broke my Fibula leg bone and have been laid out waiting for a full recovery. A positive mind has made for a speedy recovery and look forward to being at the Walton Grand National to cover the racing with no complaints!
