There is something special about the final round of any race series. Last weekend at Ironman Raceway was no different as the 250 championship was yet to be decided, and Jett Lawrence was doing his best to remain perfect in the 450 series. Also, we had several talented Canadian riders on the starting line, including Dylan Wright, Jess Pettis, and young Devyn Smith, who was also attending his first-ever Pro National in the USA. When all was said and done, Hunter Lawrence took home the 250 championship, and his brother Jett won both 450 motos, capping off his perfect summer. Dylan Wright went 8-9 for 8th overall, Jess Pettis went 10-DNF for 14th, and Devyn Smith just missed out on qualifying for the 250 motos. It was a great day, and Matt Wellumson was there to capture it all. Here are Matt’s Top 5 photos from Ironman Raceway.

The 250 class in the Pro Motocross Championships has to be the most challenging series on the planet!

You have to hand to Chase Sexton this summer. He gave it everything he had but wasn’t able to take at least one moto from Jett.

Jess Pettis shows everyone how happy he was to be racing at Ironman!

Perfect technique, perfect riding, and a perfect summer for Jett Lawrence.

It was great to see a few of our top Canadian riders on the line at Ironman. They certainly didn’t shy away from lining up near the stars of the Pro Motocross Championships.
