Heading into Round 5 of the 2023 Triple Crown Series at Sand Del Lee, everyone was excited, and it’s one of the most popular tracks on the circuit. Not only is the SDL facility close to our Nation’s Capitol, but with the solid layout and loamy sand soil, it gives the riders and teams a little bit of everything during the race weekend. As always, the racing this past weekend was entertaining, with battles all over the track. Up front in both classes, we saw multiple lead changes and the top riders really going for it. Although the day began wet and sloppy, the sun came out at noon, and the track turned out incredible for the motos. In the end, Ryder McNabb and Dylan Wright were once again victorious in their respective classes, and now we move on to Round 6 at Riverglade Raceway. However, before we turn the page from Round 5, let’s look at a collection of excellent photos from James Lissimore.
