Breaking News: 2022 AMO Racing Schedule

Working hard and having great partners gets the job done quicker!!!

Being way ahead of schedule is fun in moto – it gets us excited for the season to come and allows us to build out our race plans well ahead of time.  After a rewardingly successful 2021 race season, we’re excited to announce the 2022 True North Fleet AMO Race Schedule:  “It’s no secret that 2022 was an enormous success,” shares AMO owner Ryan Gauld. “The goal is to keep that going for 2022 and beyond. Opening up more doors on the East side of Ontario was our biggest goal for this coming year. We have done that with more events at the historic Sand Del Lee facility, added in Free Flow MX in Shannonville, and the possibility of Lunn MX in Fraserville (pending township approval).  With five new events in a market that has needed more races and tracks for years, it’s an exciting development for our upcoming race season.  Lastly, being able to race again at Auburn Hills will undoubtedly be the highlight for everyone, especially those that attended this track from 1994-2008. It’s back and in a big way!

With 2020 and 2021 bringing about tremendous growth in our amateur membership, AMO has committed to producing a schedule that allows for early member distribution and commitment.  We’re working harder than ever at making these 13 events the best the province has ever seen.  Out of the 13 events, 10 of them will count towards your class and hopes of becoming a 2022 Ontario Provincial Champion – this means the availability of three drop scores for the series!  Allowing our racers the flexibility to choose the events they attend will help balance the need for weekends away from the track and time spent with friends, family, and work.  It will also allow our local talent the time to race a Loretta Lynn’s qualifier and chase their dream of competing at the historic American Amateur GNC without jeopardizing their Ontario Provincial Championship goals.  Having three drops from the schedule allows for choices, which builds into what AMO believes is best for the sport:  communication, options, and choices!  Since 2015, AMO has had a plan always to grow and help attract more to the sport we love and help keep the ones already involved happy.  We’ve achieved this consistently for the past six years, and 2022 will mark another successful race season thanks to AMO’s commitment to our riders, local tracks, sponsors, and families that come through our gates each weekend.
