Parts Canada is growing as it rides into the bicycle industry with Parts Canada Bicycle. Parts Canada, a leader in distribution in the powersports industry is celebrating 25 years of bringing the best known and highest quality parts, accessories, and apparel brands into the Canadian Powersport market.
In August 2021, Parts Canada brought INTENSE E-bicycles to the Canadian powersports marketplace with the Tazer MX Carbon Pro & Expert models, later adding the Alloy models and the MX Tazer Recon Touring E-bike. In doing this, we recognized the similarities between the powersports, and bicycle industries and discussions began about leaning further into the development of a “Bicycle Only” segment as part of our distribution network.
In August of 2023 we began planning and building the corporate and operational infrastructure that would allow us to service Independent Bicycle Dealers (IBD’s) as a direct distributor. We’ve been working closely with some of our powersports brands that also serve the bicycle market to create a catalogue specifically for bicycle dealers.
When Parts Canada began 25 years ago, we had a modest catalogue for a limited powersports dealer network. We now have over 9,000 pages of parts, accessories, and apparel in our catalogues, serving over 1500 authorized dealers out of a combined 350,000 sq ft of warehousing operating out of Calgary, AB and London, ON.
We are as committed to expanding our product lines and growing our catalogues for bicycle dealers as we have been for our powersport dealers. We’ve built the necessary processes, procedures, and systems to safeguard service quality for our powersport dealer’s all while establishing services that are unique for bicycle dealers. By recruiting a knowledgeable, experienced and bicycle dedicated sales team to onboard independent bicycle dealers, we are rapidly growing our authorized dealer network and look forward to serving these IBD’s with the same efficiency, dedication, and professionalism that Parts Canada is so well known for.
