KTM Canada Presents The Female Perspective With Eve Brodeur

Hey guys! It’s been a long time.

I’ve been trying to find the time to sit down and write this column for quite a while now, but I was just busy and couldn’t figure out what I wanted to share/say. Well, now that my new deal with KTM Canada has been announced, I have much to discuss!

First of all, I am ecstatic to finally be able to say that I will be joining the KTM Red Bull Race Team for 2024! Returning to my roots and being 100% back with my orange family has already been incredible. Some of you might be wondering why it’s such big news since I’ve been on KTM for almost two decades (apart from the last two years). This move represents a massive achievement for me because this time, I’m not just representing the KTM brand, I will be part of the actual KTM factory team. This is something that my Dad, Sylvain, and I have been trying to make happen for so many years now. I believe this is a racing career dream come true for me, and I couldn’t be more excited about it! While I’m still not ready to say 100% yet when my racing career will be done, I know we’re getting closer to the end every year. So, I am happy to have the opportunity to make this happen.

Now, I guess I should explain how this all came to be! The 2022 season was great for our GASGAS/Callus team. We had such a blast; everyone was living their best life, and we all had great results to end the summer. Things were a little different this past season, but we still had a good time and were able to get some great results. I won’t go into too much detail because I believe the important part now is focusing on the positive. All I can say is that I want to go into 2024 with the best mindset and leave that tension behind. For now, I’m not quite sure when my training will start since I am in school full time until the end of April, completing my Master’s degree but, I am excited to go back on Orange and give the new chassis a try!

Again, I want to take this time to thank the KTM Canada team, along with our new sponsors, for giving me this new opportunity. I am incredibly excited, and I plan to make the team proud. See you next summer!
